In the name of Allah, the Compassionate the Merciful

Praise be to Allah, peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family and companions.

Once again the assassination and arrest of targeting the Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI)’s members renewed. Gunmen assassinated Dr. Khalil Ibrahim al Nuaymi who was the member of Mosul Branch and president of Islamic Jurisprudence in Islamic Science Faculty in Mosul University near his home this afternoon in a dangerous escalation against the scientific and academic skills in the province.

The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) condemns this heinous crime; stresses that this crime will not weaken and discourage it from continuing the path that choice for themselves from the first day of its founding.

AMSI holds the occupation and the current government fully responsible for the crime.

May Allah (swt) mercy upon the martyr, and inspire his family and friends patience.

May his soul rest in peace in the heaven.
