Sheikh Dr. Sheikh Harith al-Dhari, Secretary General of the Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (HEYET) in an interview with the magazine of Al-Ahram al-Arabi circulated in newspapers and many websites clarified that the Iraqi resistance is the only way to liberate Iraq and it was able to foil the American project in Iraq and the region.

Sheikh Dhari pointed out that the current political process has failed, leaving no way to liberate Iraq only through the heroic Iraqi resistance and power. “Because what is taken by force can only be restored by force.” said His Eminence.

He also stressed his opposition to the elections scheduled for Iraq in the seventh of next March describing it as the worst in the history of this wounded country.
